1st Day of School - "cheers from mom's around the world"

Tuesday was the first day of school and boy oh boy was the Oursler house excited. Isabella and Soren wanted to wear matching outfits, they layed out their clothes the night before and "tried" to go to sleep early. Soren had told me on Monday "tomorrow is going to be the best day of my life", I sure hope that sticks for a few years. He was excited to see his friend Jorel was back again this year. Isabella has been with the same exact class since kindergarten and some of the girls since her 1st year at preschool, so it is very comfortable for her. I think that is the one thing she would have enjoyed at the public school - meeting new friends.

I am so excited and blessed the kids were going off to Las Brisas. I have such a positive feeling about this year and I know that God's plan for them it a great one and I can't wait to watch it unfold. Last year I wasn't at the same place I am this year, so I have to give praise to God for showing me that I need to stay is his word and he will do great great things.

All 5 kids started school today - (for you new readers...ha ha... my kids are 2 of 5 basically - they are with their cousins all the time). Charlie was so happy to start preschool, he kept saying "I'm going to Las Brisas Christian Preschool" - he looked so handsome. Parker is in 2nd grade and he and Soren are in the same class, and Elizabeth started kindergarten. Since enrollment is down there is only 1 lunch so they all 4 will eat lunch and play on the playground together.

PTF will be stronger this year, even with less families. Cami and I have our work cut out but as I have said before the 1st year was the toughest, now the refining will take place. We know that there are alot of families with "Time, Talent and Treasure" at Las Brisas schools, and they just need to a few leaders to show them the way.

Have a great Wednesday.

PS Dance started last night and Awana tonight - so BUSY begins!
